CEF is not hardware forwarding. It's simply a [much] faster way of doing CPU forwarding. The 2800/3800/7200 (NPE-G2) routers dont have hardware accelleration, just CPU.<BR/><BR/>The difference in perf on the hardware platforms like the 3560 is because you're moving from real hardware to CPU process switching.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
